Former racist now 72, struggling with many disease, including diabetes has had a change of heart. Elwin Hope Wilson has spent half of life beating up Black people. He goes on to say that he is seeking forgiveness for all that he has done to Blacks. Here's an insert from Associated Press:
"The former Ku Klux Klan supporter says he wants to atone for the cross burnings on Hollis Lake Road. He wants to apologize for hanging a black doll in a noose at the end of his drive, for flinging cantaloupes at black men walking down Main Street, for hurling a jack handle at the black kid jiggling the soda machine in his father's service station, for brutally beating a 21-year-old seminary student at the bus station in 1961."
How do we feel about a situation like this? Do we accept his apologies and forgive him? Let me know what you think!

Racist Cartoon Post?
Al Sharpton recently called out a cartoon post in Wednesday's NY Post racist. The post [shown above] shows White policemen shooting a chimpanzee [great! here we go again, the connection between Blacks and the "monkey"]
My thoughts? Completely out of line. Unless the entire NY Post staff are just a bunch of idiots, one of these idiots have gotten to know that allowing this cartoon to be printed would have stirred up an uproar. Given that the chimpanzee has often been associated with Blacks, would they not get that maybe just maybe we shouldn't print this? This is kind of racist. Maybe just a little. I mean, heck first Black President in office let's not offend anyone. Just goes to show people that racism is still alive and well. It has not gone away. :::SMH:::
