Jay-Z graces the cover of XXL and discusses the meaning behind "D.O.A." and responds to critics:

“I’m not hating on young people. Like, when people say that, I’m like, What are you talking about? It’s just stupid. I’m not hating on young people… I’m not Bill Russell, [saying] Michael Jordan ain’t shit. I’m saying Lil Wayne and Kanye are like LeBron and Kobe. My job as someone at the forefront of the game is to leave it in a better position than when I came in. Same way that Russell [Simmons] left it to me. ‘Cause this thing saved my life. Literally. Jay Z Takes Oprah to Marcy Projects (PHOTOS)/ Rocawear Shoot With Spike Lee

What can't Jay Z do? Reports indicate that Sunday Jay Z (and Rihanna was present) took Oprah and her camera crew around Marcy Projects were he grew up for an upcoming segment on her show. Now remember Oprah had once banned rappers from her show, perhaps she has had second thoughts. Guess Oprah doesn't hate ALL rappers!





It's good to see that Jay Z has never forgotten where he came from, and still goes back to Marcy projects! Some of these other artists should follow suit behind him.

Real Chance of Love 2 -- Hot Wings

Real Chance of Love 2 primered last night and had the entire Twitter world buzzing. From the girls to Real and Chance, it was just a hot mess. They even faught on the first night!! The girl that I am hoping makes it all the way is Brittany, Hot Wings! In the midst of the hot mess that viewed last night, Hot Wings definitely stood out and I hope that she makes it all the way! And I'm not being biased because I know her (and she's from the DMV... DC Chillin!!) but she actually is the baddest girl in the competition, and she seems to have some sense. Let's just hope she doesn't show out next week!! (haha) I doubt she will...Good luck Hot Wings!
