Jay Z On Cover of XXL/Bill O'Reilly Responds Back to Jay-Z's "Off That"

l
Jay-Z graces the cover of XXL and discusses the meaning behind "D.O.A." and responds to critics:

“I’m not hating on young people. Like, when people say that, I’m like, What are you talking about? It’s just stupid. I’m not hating on young people… I’m not Bill Russell, [saying] Michael Jordan ain’t shit. I’m saying Lil Wayne and Kanye are like LeBron and Kobe. My job as someone at the forefront of the game is to leave it in a better position than when I came in. Same way that Russell [Simmons] left it to me. ‘Cause this thing saved my life. Literally. So I have a responsibility to it karmically. And after that it’s on you. I did my part. I made ‘D.O.A.’ I said it. I made the statement. I made the push. Here, y’all take it from here.”

Bill O'Reilly fires back at Jay-Z....take a look

Didn't know O'Reilly was a Jay- Z fan (being sarcastic)... he must be awaiting the album dropping, too. Who know guys like O'Reilly scope out rappers' lyrics. smh

Omarion Dropped From Young Money!

Literally, everyone was shocked to hear that Lil Wayne's Young Money signed Omarion and Bow Wow, we all thought it was a joke but apparently it wasn't. Omarion has been dropped from the label after 2 months. Mack Maine got on Twitter and said

“ATTN: Omarion is no longer Young Money … the song they leaked ft. Wayne is not official .. good luck 2 him in his future”.

Photobucket

Wow. Let's be real, Omarion didn't fit into the whole Young Money family. And it seems like Young Money will sign anyone these days, but can they please have an album that drops..... lol and Mack Maine that was quite professional of you to post that on Twitter! :::smh:::

Keri Hilson Lashes Out on Beyonce/Ciara....How Dare She?

Miss Keri Baby lashes out on Beyonce and Ciara on her remix with Lil Wayne and T-Pain. Calls Beyonce a "Ho." And as if this was not simply ridiculous she goes on to say, "Just check the credits ho." Keri goes on Ciara when she says,"Your vision cloudy if you think that you da best/You can dance/she can sing/but need to move it to the le… (Don’t do it to ‘em shawty!)”

I don't know about you but this beef seems a bit unrealistic. Yes, Keri you've written some songs but you definitely cannot dance, let Ciara handle that. And you couldn't touch Beyonce on your good day.

Love the song "Turn Me On" but Miss Keri Baby is not on diva status yet....wait until your next album drops than start beefin' with people.

Boring Grammys!

Absolutely a bore. The most exciting thing about the Grammy was who actually didn't show up do to their own personal controversy, i.e. Rihanna and Chris Brown. It seems like the awards ceremony was longer than usual. I honestly believe that those in attendance watching this horrible Grammys were bored out of their minds. Highlights of the show: Jennifer Hudson's acceptance speech for R&B Album of the Year. Jennifer thanked "her family in heaven." Other key moments includes Swagga Like Us performance with Jay Z, T.I., Kanye West, Lil Wayne and the OHH SOO pregnant, MIA. Even though their performance was amazing, it still was not enough to make four or five hours of boredom turn into excitement. Huge yawn...I will not be watching next year!

Grammys 2009......

Excited? Yes and no. I love how beautiful the Grammy's are but hate how long they are. They always seem forever ending. Despite the length of the award ceremony what sure to be the talk the next morning is what celebrities stole the red carpet as their own and who should of never of walked out on the red carpet at all. And of course, people remember the performances. The infamous "Was she lip syncing?" or "She was just horrid!" But every year people look forward to these awards and look forward to seeing their favorite celebrity "maybe" take a Grammy home with them.
