Racist Cartoon Post?

Al Sharpton recently called out a cartoon post in Wednesday's NY Post racist. The post [shown above] shows White policemen shooting a chimpanzee [great! here we go again, the connection between Blacks and the "monkey"]

My thoughts? Completely out of line. Unless the entire NY Post staff are just a bunch of idiots, one of these idiots have gotten to know that allowing this cartoon to be printed would have stirred up an uproar. Given that the chimpanzee has often been associated with Blacks, would they not get that maybe just maybe we shouldn't print this? This is kind of racist. Maybe just a little. I mean, heck first Black President in office let's not offend anyone. Just goes to show people that racism is still alive and well. It has not gone away. :::SMH:::
