Okay, so I've hopped on the bandwagon and started watching Bad Girls Club 6Miami... and I'm all caught up and up to date (thanks to hulu.com ) and I still have YET to see a bad girl on the show! Aside from Cat, who made a classy exist on last week's show, I think the show lacks actual "bad girls." Rather then bad girls, we have pettyl, immature women who seem to be afraid to grow the f*ck up (excuse my language).

Lea, darling... I liked you in the beginning, your energy and personality definitely has to be one of the best in the house but you have got to be one of the most confused woman on the show. Recent blog posts suggest that you are living in Cali with Kayleigh? *crickets* Best friends with Brandi one minute...Booty partners with Kristen and now your Kayleigh's roommate? *crickets* Best of luck to you!

Erica, you seem to be on the right track. You did your own thing, good for you. But definitely not a bad girl in my opinion.

Brandi, girl.....you served us with drama every week. Bad girl? I wouldn't go as far to say that but you definitely are one of the most entertaining. Glad you finally got laid. LOL

Kristen? No comment. I don't think this girl had any right to be on the show at all.

Danielle, I think allowed herself to be played by the girls in the house. She definitely was not cut out for it and removed herself from the situation and I applaud her for that.

The new girls... I don't think they understand exactly what they got themselves into but good luck ladies...

After this season, I wont ever watch this show again because I haven't found the actual point of the show. Where are the bad girls?

As much of you already know by now, one of the poorest countries in the Western hemisphere was hit by a 7.0 earthquake yesterday, claiming over 100,000 lives. For the first couple of days it is crucial for relief efforts to be sent to Haiti in order to help our people during this tragedy.

What can you to do to help?

1. Go clean out your closets of clothes and shoes and search for Red Cross drop off areas to donate. OUR PEOPLE NEED CLEAN CLOTHES.

2. Wyclef has set it up where you can text "Yele" to 501501 to donate $5 to the Relief Fund. Charges automatically appear on your phone bill. $5 AMERICAN DOLLARS IS EQUIVALENT TO $35 HAITIAN DOLLARS......ONE MILLION PEOPLE DONATE $5 THAT TOTALS UP TO $35 MILLION.

3. Prayer! God is good people and if He would not give us anything that we could not bare. Continue praying.

4. Let us start making arrangements to be in Haiti when the cameras are all gone. They are going to need us. Let's do alternative spring breaks, trips and go to Haiti and help out!

Okay, ladies and gentlemen I'm back, sorry for the absence.

I'm sure by now everyone has heard about the Tiger Woods' scandal and of course, Shaq's very intimate (and high school like) with Gilbert Arenas' fiance. Poor Tiger, each and every day more mistresses keep coming out the woods work claiming that they slept with him. These women look quite sad and pathetic. Why, you may ask? These women knew their roles and knew that they were simply MISTRESSES. And of course, they knew that Tiger was married with children but did that stop them from pursuing the affair? Nope. And before you say, that I'm placing too much blame on the mistresses I am definitely not letting Tiger off the hook. He was messy with this whole situation! He disrespected his wife, his family and his vows. Tiger knew how much he had to lose when dealing with these women and still it didn't stop him from continuing to have not one but up to ten mistresses?

Bottom line, people make mistakes. Regardless of how big or small. Tiger and his family are going through a rough time. And the worst part of it all is that the media has blew this scandal up from day one and will probably not ease up for a long time. I think the media should ease up.... And let Tiger and his wife deal with their own issue.

I said this once and I'll say this before "f*ck being famous..... I'll take the famous bank account any day"

Who didn't see this coming? Suddenly, after Lakers, Lamar Odom marries one of the Kardashians (Khloe), he suddenly is ALL over the media, receiving more press time than normal (let's keep it real, basketball season isn't fully in action yet, why is he all over the place?).

Leads one to believe that this jump shot marriage is simply a publicity stunt. And IF it is indeed a publicity stunt, can we hand both Lamar and Khloe an Oscar for a spectacular performance?

Usher's New Track "Papers"

Usher is BACK! Oww! I've always loved Usher, and have been patiently awaiting for him to drop another album. Especially an "after the divorce" album. Earlier this week, news spread quickly over Usher's new song entitled "Papers." The title alone threw me off the loop. But while listening to the song, I was immediately impressed. Usher is the ONLY artist I know to make breaking up or going through a divorce sound cool. Remember after his break up with TLC's Chilli? He released Confession (which I still listen to constantly as if it came out yesterday!).

Shyne Not Yet Released From Prison...But Diddy STILL watch out!

By now I'm sure that you've heard that former Bad Boy rapper, Shyne is set to be released from prison. He was expected to be released yesterday but is still being restrained due to "immigration status." Apparently, Shyne is originally from Belize. (Who knew)
It is yet known whether Shyne will be deported.

It seems like everyone has been waiting for Shyne to be get out of jail for several reasons but the most important one: "What is Diddy going to do?" Or better yet "What is Shyne going to do/say to Diddy?" Many still believe that Shyne took all the blame for the shooting at the club that took place years ago involving Diddy, and J-Lo.
This should be interesting to watch it play out. Throughout the years it was funny to see how Diddy never mentioned Shyne and went off with his life (barely escaping prison time himself) *side eye*

Wow. Shocking news for Atlanta's housewife Kandi, apparently her fiance AJ has been beaten to death. This is crazy, folks we have to do better as a community, and people. The violence is absurd! If you aren't following the show Kandi and her mother have often had disagreements about AJ, who is a father of 6 children (my heart goes out to his family). I don't know what some people think they are proving by taking another's life but the shit is getting out of hand. We have to STOP THE VIOLENCE. STOP KILLING EACH OTHER OVER BUSINESS!!

I absolutely love Oprah but seeing Solange and Chris Rock talk about hair on the show earlier this week was great. Solange talked about her new hair do (which made so much noise everywhere when she first chopped off all her hair) Solange says:

“Realistically I was spending about 40,000 dollars to 50,000 dollars a year and probably half of my life, I grew up in a hair salon, my mom owned a hair salon,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“There was always this feeling of always wanting to be in the salon once or twice a week and I got a perm pretty early - I was four,” she said.

When she chopped off her locks earlier this year, she wrote on her Twitter page the reason for it.

“I just wanted to be free of the bondage that black women sometimes put themselves in with their hair,” she explained.

“This phase in my life I want to spend the time the energy and the money on something else and not in the hair salon,” she added.

Why Do We Cheat?

With my latest post about the Swizz Beatz/Alicia Keys and Mashonda situation (check out previous post for that story) it stir up many questions in my head. What drives someone to disrespect their vows, family, and themselves and have an affair? Is it that the person does not understand the importance and seriousness of the vows that they took? I mean you stood in front of God and a host of family and friends and committed to your vows. How dare you break them?
Which brings up the question why do people cheat? Is that people cheat simply out of selfishness? Or is that the relationship is lacking something? Is that its just sex? I honestly do believe that some people cheat just for the thrill as well. I guess it varies depending on the circumstance and relationship.
I had a boyfriend in high school who I just adored because he was a local deejay and got me into all the all ages club! (Haha) We were together for like 9 months and little did I know that Mr. Deejay had another girlfriend the entire time at his high school (we went to different high school). Though we were young, you couldn't tell me I wasn't so deep in love (ha later did I realize it was just a case of puppy love). He was cheating on me the ENTIRE time while he was with me! In my case, I honestly believe that he found some thrill in being able to juggle both me and the other girl at the same time.
So my advice to people, is if you feel that a relationship is lacking something or you just aren't in like/love with your significant other anymore, let them know before you decide to cheat. Yes, they will be hurt but you can save them from much more heartache.

Although, Mashonda (Swizz Beatz wife) has filed for divorce, it has not been finalized yet. Apparently Mashona reached out to Alicia via Twitter about the matter. Check out what she had to say:

Well, my marriage was not broken, as far as I knew we were celebrating our sons birth and getting ready to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary . Call it blind love, whatever. I call it being a devoted wife.. As far as me blaming her and not blaming him, thats false. Me and my husband have worked out our differences. We are in a good place as people and as parents. I accept his choices and I am comfortable enough with myself to move on. I am so very blessed in many ways.My concern with AK is no longer the fact that she assisted in destroying a family but that she has the audacity to make these selfish comments about love and wanting to be with someone, even after knowing their situation. How is this the same Superwoman that I sang out loud with in my truck? I ask myself sometimes.If you are reading this Alicia, let me start by saying, you know what you did. You know the role you played and you know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage. You know that I asked you to step back and let me handle my family issues. Issues that you helped to create. Im not saying everything was perfect all the time but no relationship is perfect. We made a vow to God and I believe you should have respected that, as a woman. I know you owe me or my son nothing but I just wish you would've handled things more carefully. I'm not judging you, I put you and the whole situation in the hands of God, the Higher Power. Just know that as a woman, I expected so much more from you. I never had intentions on reaching out to you this way but after reading your twits tonight, and the constant disregard, you left me no choice. I feel that after 1 and a half years of you hiding this affair and acting like it doesnt exist, that now is the time to confront it, since you talk so openly about it nowThis is not a publicity stunt, I dont have a record coming out. I just need to close this chapter in my life and that means confronting our issues. There is a small child involved. His dad loves him to death and he wants to spend more time with him but hes afraid because he knows we don't have a relationship. This is my main concern. Kandi, former member of Xscape and the only sane one Real Housewives Atlanta told Essence magazine that her new album is entitled B.L.O.G. "Bitches Love Online Gossip." Here's her explanation:

“I came up with the concept based on things that were going that were relevant to what’s going on in my life now including the show and what things have been written about me and my fiancée by bloggers,” she admits. “The whole album isn’t about the show but there are definitely songs inspired from the show like “Fly Above,” and “It Must Be Good.”“B.L.O.G.,” which is scheduled for a September release, will also feature “Superwoman,” a duet and anthem for single mothers with Burruss’s dear friend, former Xscape member and T.I.’s fiancée, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle. Not sure if this was apart of the performance so my question to Lil Mama is WHY? Why did you do that? If you didn't know, Twitter spares no one, immediately after her stunt she became a trending topic.

Kanye West has done it again, act a fool that is. Tonight, on MTV's VMA Awards (which were pretty *yawn* if you ask me, the only thing that kept it so entertaining was the drama with Kanye and the constant outfit changes from Lady Gaga), Kanye snatches the mic from Taylor Swift who won "Best Video Award," over Beyonce. He jumped on the stage, took the mic and said no disrespect to Taylor Swift but Beyonce was better. Now, even though MANY of us were thinking the same thing, his ignorance was uncalled for. Kanye, you need a good ole' fashion butt whooping! The kind, when your mother, grandmother sends you out in the backyard to go get them a switch! Twitter went crazy over the Kanye-Taylor situation! Concrete Loop, did inform us that Kanye had been drinking Hennesey all night, so perhaps he was intoxicated (still no excuse). Kanye and Amber Rose were both asked to leave the awards.

However, BIG UPS to Hov's wifey, Beyonce for being such a classy lady and calling Taylor Swift back on the stage to give her acceptance speech. That was a class act and speaks wonders about Beyonce's character and makes Kanye look like a donkey! Kanye, get it together quickly sir. You were entertaining tonight, but let's stop the madness. By the way, was it just me or was Amber Rose a bit off tonight? She seemed in space and didn't look her usual fab self! Here's a clip below:

Man Shoots Ex-Girlfriend Because She Gave Him HIV

Now I'm going to sound like my mother when I say that we are living near the end of time. In Fort Lauderdale, Anton Josey told police that he shot his girlfriend, Dominique Duval for allegingly giving him HIV. Here are the full details:

A man told police he shot his ex-girlfriend because she gave him HIV. That woman later died in the hospital. According to Hollywood Police, Anton Jamar Josey kidnapped 23-year-old Dominque Duval…… from her job in Fort Lauderdale armed with a gun at about 11 p.m. Witnesses said they heard Duval screaming and being dragged by Josey into a Mercedes-Benz.

Police caught up with Josey at a local gas station, pulling his car over for speeding. “The detectives attempted to stop that vehicle when it turned into the Shell Gas Station at 2801 Pembroke Road,” said Hollywood Police Lieutenant Manny Marino. “When the vehicle came to a stop, however, a female exited the passenger side of the vehicle, ran back towards the detectives’ direction. She was apparently holding her neck, had some type of injury. The detectives obviously approached the vehicle. The driver also exited, and at some point, made a statement as to shooting the victim.”

Police said he later told them he shot her because she gave him HIV. Josey appeared in bond court Thursday afternoon to faces murder charges and charges of possession of firearm by convicted felon, as well as some traffic infraction charges.

SMH, for folks who think that HIV is not a prevalant matter anymore, this story goes to show that is still prevalant. Practice safe sex, know who your sleeping with. You have to get tested, it doesn't hurt to know.

"I wanna thank everyone at Island Records/DefJam for their faith in me and making me Executive Vice President of Island Records," The Dream said in a statement on his Twitter page. "Thank you to my team..my manager Mark Stewart & my attorney Aaron Rosenberg for getting this 1st step of a goal accomplished."

"I look forward to the challenge of rebuilding music for not only Island Records But for Universal Records as a whole. Today I'm humbled and blessed," The Dream said.

He ended this message on Twitter saying that he is calling it a Twitter quits but did not release a reason for the sudden Twitter withdrawal.

Rumors have it that The Dream and Christina Milian have applied for a marriage license in Los Angeles, CA and are to be married very soon. Also, there are many speculations that Christina is actually pregnant.

Earlier this year Kelly ended her business relationship with Matthew Knowles. And she has yet to sign to a new label. Kelly says being overseas has allowed her to embrace the international market. And as Ms. Toya has said I dont blame her! Kelly looks fab!

I must agree that her music in America is very much so slept on. Her last album was amazing and I must admit that I probably would of never had listened to it if a former friend didn't tell me what I was missing. Chris Brown FINALLY Sentenced

Chris Brown was FINALLY formally sentenced today to 5 years probation and 6 month community service at the Commonwealth Catholic Charities. He isn't allowed anywhere 100 yards near Rihanna unless they are attending an entertainment related event (than he is allowed 10 yards near her). Before the sentencing was over the judge told Chris this:

"You understand that I am issuing a protective order. You understand what that means? I’m not one to ever believe in any hearsay or anything of that matter but I’m not immune from the chatter that has been on the airwaves. Any violation of this protective order is a violation of your probation. Your attorney has appeared in front of me many times. He knows I will take that very very seriously. Remember, even though you have probation, this is a felony and it does come with the potential of state prison if you shall violate in any way the terms and conditions if this probation or pick up any new case."

Chris, you heard the judge. Stay as far away as possible from the girl.

Finally I hope that this is over and these two can move forward with their lives.

Everyone always say that they would love to be "rich and famous." But seriously, how many of you would REALLY want to be rich and famous? There is so much to glam, the money, the cars, the big houses. It's a lifestyle. There are many advantages that come along with being wealthy and being a celebrity but those some advantages also can be viewed as a downfall. Everyone knows who you are, any type of privacy that you may have is gone. Paparazzi literally attacks you any chance they have. We seen what happened to Jay- Z, Beyonce, and their bodyguard Julius in Croatia. The pap has no mercy. They will do anything to get that 'exclusive' pic. And don't get me wrong, we the public feed into this hoapla because we buy the magazines and the tabloids. Some of these celebrities simply do not have privacy and live their entire lives in the public view. Whether they are out in the club, having lunch, or even taking a stroll on the street, they are always subject to the pap's cameras. On top of that their family and friends are also being harassed too. They can't even have a peaceful divorce without the paps/media's input. I don't know about you but they can have the fame.... Hollywood ain't for everybody! I rather have a "famous bank account" than ever be completely subjected to the public and live life without any privacy.

– Kelis should get spousal support totaling $72,728

Dwayne Wade and Siohaughn are divorcing (still pending) due to infidelity, violence, and rumors are the Heat player gave his wife an STD. (yikes...not to mention he has a new girlfriend Gabrielle Union and isn't even divorced yet)

Michael and Juanita Jordan divorced after 17 years. It's rumored that the split was due to infidelity. She was awarded 168 million dollars after the split. Wow.

The foolishness that took place on the last episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta goes and shows why women at times (maybe ALL the time) are so caddy! The back and forth bickering amongst all the ladies (except for Kandi, who has still illustrated that she is drama-free, WAIT...I take that back... 6 KIDS, enough said!) really is getting outrageous. Outrageous as it might be, the show serves its purpose: its entertainment! Highlights of the show, Sheree's "gentle" hold of Kim's horrendous (and I say this with all due respect), triflin' wig! But if that wasn't enough, the one theme that continues to play out on this show is that even when wrong, confronted, people do not fess up. I hope these ladies get it together soon. But I definitely won't front, I will entertain the drama (from afar) because it is just entertainment.

J Cole is the first signee to Roc Nation so keep your ear out, you will be hearing a lot from him soon. Honey Magazine did an exclusive interview with the rapper, check it out:

Honey Magazine: You were grinding for a minute, but a couple years back your name was the Therapist. Why the switch?
J Cole:Here’s the story. Back when I was like 13, we used to call three-way. It’d be like six niggas on the phone looking for rap names…

Hitting up that thesaurus pretty hard?
J Cole:Not even, niggas was straight flipping through a dictionary! Like “Can I be the fucking chiropractor,” (laughs). Nothing was sticking and I looked towards my mentors for help and one of them, suggested Therapist. I actually loved the name, but as I got older, it started to be corny to me. It felt like a wrestler.

Ha! On some alter-ego shit?
J Cole:Exactly. The name J. Cole, is still a rap character in it’s own, but it’s closer to myself than the Therapist could ever be. I decided about 3, 4 years ago to make that switch.

Seems like a good choice. You worked on The Warm Up for about the time some might take on their albums. Is that amount of effort comparable to starting an album?
J Cole:It’s like the difference between practice and a game. And I felt like I practiced hard as fuck. So now when I’m in the game, its a couple notches more serious and harder, but I’m more prepared because I didn’t practice like a slouch. I’m just early in the album stages so I don’t know entirely what it’s going to bring, but I know I’m ready.

It’s funny that you compare it to sports, because a lot of rappers put their “practices” on the web. But you started off taking a bit more of the traditional route. If you could, would you have gone back and tried pushing harder on the blogs?
J Cole:Nah, I think the way I did it was perfect. I’m not going to say that’s the way I had planned, but that’s the way I believed in. I saw it as you’re supposed to put your best foot forth at all times. So I stuck to my guns. I put out one mixtape before I got my deal. My second mixtape came after. You see what I’m saying? I got my deal based strictly off the music.

How do you think that benefits you?
J Cole:I’m like a mystery. If I was one of these rappers heavy on the blogs, but without a deal and had gotten signed with Jay-Z, it wouldn’t have caused the same effect. People would’ve just been like “Oh, that’s what’s up. He’s been grinding for a minute. Rather than, “Who’s that?”

True. Speaking of Hov, Wale was recently interviewed in VIBE saying he gets to talk to Jay more than anyone else. As Roc Nation’s first artist, what’s your relationship like with him?
J Cole:I don’t even speak to him close to that much. I’m all about…you earn shit. Even though I signed that deal, you ain’t going to catch me in every picture throwing up…

A Roc sign?
J Cole:Yeah and just eating off that brand. That time is going to come. They put in years worth of work to build that up and it would be phony for me to just come in because I got signed and now the next day I’m so Roc’d out. Nah. You have to earn the right to be Jay’s friend. He has to be impressed with you as a person. He’s not obligated to hang out with you now that you’re signed to his label. I mean a year from now who knows what shit will be like. So I speak to Jay when it’s necessary and when it’s appropriate.

Yeah, I guess it’s all about just being patient with the levels of hierarchy…
J Cole:Yeah, definitely. A deal means nothing. A deal is just saying I believe in you. Now show me what you got. But you know, we’re not friends, yet (laughs).

Got you (laughs). It’s noticeable that thus far you haven’t been into having any big names on your songs. Does that go back to earning your way again?
J Cole:It is. Actually, it’s not even that I need to earn it, well it kind of is. I just gotta establish my shit first. Not even on some earnest shit, I just want people to know that when it came down to it, I didn’t really need anyone but myself. Now of course you need a strong team, you need other like-minded musicians around you, but I don’t want to be one of those rappers who runs to X, Y, Z.

You don’t want to look like the kid with crutches.
J Cole:Exactly. And that’s the thing. I’m capable. If I can do it all on my own, why wouldn’t I?

It seems that one of The Warm Up’s themes is this whole “Back then they didn’t want me/ Now I’m hot they all on me.” Does that pertain to women too?
J Cole:Honestly, I never really felt like I was the kind of nigga who couldn’t get girls or something. Of course now it’s like some girls I didn’t even know are trying to get at me. There’s certain people hitting me up that wasn’t hitting me up before. A certain girl will poke me on Facebook (laughs). It’s not drastic, but maybe because I’m not using it to my advantage.

Would you rather be with the girl who had all your lyrics memorized or would you rather be with a girl who didn’t know shit about you?
J Cole:I’m definitely picking the girl who doesn’t know shit about me, but the problem is I don’t trust. Right now I’m nobody, but if years from now I’m hot and a girl told me she didn’t know me I would just think she’s trying to play me. But when I meet people, even beyond girls, I never bring up that I’m a rapper. I hate to say that.

Why you say that?
J Cole:It just brings out these certain judgments. End of the day though, I gotta make sure a girl ain’t fucking with me because of my status… not that I have a status yet, but you know (laughs).

Yeah, I know (laughs). That being said, someone who does seem to have that problem now is Drake. A lot of people compare you guys. What do you think are the similarities and differences?
J Cole:We’re similar in the fact that our subject matter is authentic. I think the things that he’s saying very much represent him. We’re different in the fact that right now in my career I’m less concerned with material shit. No disrespect to him, but I feel like my subject matter is a little bit more broad and deeper. But, another difference is, he knows how to make a hit record. I ain’t got no hit records yet. I haven’t proven that. He’s proven that on several different occasions.

Having faith that the hit records will come, when will you feel like you’ve reached success?
J Cole:Man, I’ve been pondering this recently. My measure of success is so much greater than numbers. The word is “long-term.” I can’t even measure it till say five years from now when I ask, “Did I drop classic albums? Did I remain consistent?” That’s why I can’t put a number on what I want my first week sales to be. It’s so fucking past that.

Folks, watch who you let into your life. It's sad that you have to be selective but some people are just not out for your best interest nor do they care for your betterment in life. This summer I have realized how vindictive and cold people you call friends can be. People that you were once so comfortable to share things with can turn on you quickly. It's sad when friends become enemies but it's reality. Shit happens. People aren't what they seem to be. This summer just taught me that the weak do not survive and that you need a tough skin to withstand the bullshit of the world. Friends will disappoint you. Family will talk about you. Whether it be intentionally or not intentionally at one point of time in your life the people that you care for the most and you think care about you will betray you and disappoint you. What do you do? Keep it moving. Smile, and go on with life. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger! Pray to God for the gift of discernment so you know whose truly there for you or not. That's what I'm doing.....

So this is my first season watching Desperate Housewives Atlanta and I fell in love automatically! It was both filled with entertainment and drama! Nene is a mess, I love her instanteounsly though, she seems to keep it real and tell it how it is. Truth enough, she can be more tactful. She holds it down for her family I must admit. I love love Sharee, I think she is misunderstood and even does some shady thing but I can't help but to want to like her. She's about her business and looks DAMN good for 38 years old! I can't watch more of Sharee! Now Lisa, at first I thought she was the BEST one but my friend brought to my attention that she seems like a sneak on the low. And I have to admit, she seems to be real sneaky, like always there to start trouble but never the one blamed for it. Now Kim, Lord needs to help Kim. That wig is beyond ugly and ridiculous and if Big Papa is truly this multi-millionare than he needs to do much better and hook this child up. She is the most exposed on the show. Yeah she's fake, a 2 faced, some timing female but I am so interested to know exactly why she is like that! Kandi, I love my fellow Southern girl but honey, honey, the man has 6 kids! Research that negro!!

Long hair-- don't care is OUT THE DOOR. Women everywhere are cutting their hair off and getting styles that resemble celebrities such as Rihanna, Chrisette Michelle, Cassie, etc.. It is amazing how after all this time a woman is still defined by her hair. How good of a texture her hair is. How long it is. The ideal traditional image of a women in the media consists of long hair, however time has changed. So when is this stipulation ever going to go away?

Thursday, images circulated all of the web of Solange's new short do. Many people had a lot to say about it especially the Hollywood world, rappers Soulja Boy Tell Em and Bow Wow thought it was ridiculous that female celebrities were chopping off all their hair and adopting the boyish cut. (Referring to Lala, Cassie, Amber Rose, who previously have had the boyish cut) My personal opinion, who cares!! And why is this making news? It's making news because people are so afraid of anything different, abnormal, and instead of embracing this new trend they criticize and judge harshly. And quite frankly, being creative and different should be the new "in." So, to Solange and any other bad ass chick rocking a short do...go ahead and continue to be different!

Girls Gone Wild in St. Thomas

Vacationing in St. Thomas was the most relaxing experience ever. If you ever want to get away from the stresses of work, relationships, etc. I strongly suggest that you book yourself a trip to the Caribbean and go relax. As soon as we landed we went to a liquor store and the liquor was SO CHEAP. (2 bottles of Patron for $62, Jose Cuervo for $10). The beaches were absolutely beautiful, water so clear that you can see your entire body even when standing so far from the shores. Beaches to check out if ever in St. Thomas, Coki Point ---> voted tourists #1 fave! Ask for a guy named Web (WWW), who works at Buddy's Bar and he is sure to take care of you with some of the best food and alcoholic drinks you will ever have. Be sure to take the $6 ferry to St. John's and go visit their beaches as well. I had a fab time and if ever I was in need of a vaca please believe St. Thomas just might see me again!

I swear the entire world is in morning today after hearing news of Michael Jackson's death yesterday. A musical icon, legend gone too soon. I remember growing up listening to Michael Jackson, having a crush on the younger Mike. Michael Jackson's death just goes to show us that we must cherish every second of life, live like you were dying tomorrow. Michael Jackson did what no artist has ever done before, unite the world with his music. May his legacy live on and my prayers and deepest sympathies go out to his children, family, friends, and fans.

DC Metro Collision

My prayers and deepest sympathy goes out to all the victims from the DC Metro Red line collision. It's so heart breaking and sad to know that so many people were injured in this train collision. When I first heard the news I immediately was worried about my friend who takes the Red Line religiously to and from work. I can just imagine how many people were making sure their family and friends were alright. Once again, I am reminded that life isn't promised and to not take it for granted. Remind all your loved one that you love/care for them daily because you never know when they might be taken from you.

Apparently, Dorion from BET's College Hill's Twitter account has gotten hacked into apparently he pissed someone off and the Hacker released nude pictures of Dorion with this statement: “Dorion slept wit my nigga!!!!!!! now he pays!!!!!!!!! lolol,” and “tall dont understand Dorian killed a friend of mine." (Hacker apparently tried to reference that Dorian may have infected a friend of his.) On top of that the Hacker is claiming to have personal information to celebs including Solange Knowles' home address, Necole Bitchie,etc...

Irv Finally Lets Ashanti Go

Well since the disappearnce of the Murder Inc. family courtesy of Mr. Bully aka 50 Cent himself, no artist in Murder Inc. could deliver. People are still asking what happened to Ja Rule after the much brutal beef against 50 Cent, he hasn't rapped sense (or are we really going to call what he did rapping "its murddddddddaaaaa"). Ashanti was the only credible, this is by a long shot artist left on the label. And it's not people dislike Ashanti or her music but it's with who she is associated that wasn't helping her. Irv Gotti has recently reported that he has dropped Ashanti off the label (I doubt that she's really upset about that). This is what he had to say:

"The relationship has run its course. The chemistry of what's needed — we're in two totally different places. You're talking to somebody that took her and shaped and molded her and put her out there for the world, and it blew up. We [hold the record] for the [fastest] selling debut by a female R&B artist — 503 [thousand]. We did it! My views and philosophies and her views and philosophies are not meeting up."

I personally believe for her to be successful, it took the energy ... when you seen her, it was 30 n---as around her, and she's the princess so nice and pretty walking through. The music was great, but it was the energy that was created. It wasn't just her standing there and singing a song….

I don't think she can win. She needs some guidance with that. But she's not thinking like that. Really, I couldn't tell you what she's thinking. So that relationship has run its course and honestly, I'm gonna just drop her."

How Do You Get Over Someone?

Talking recently to a friend of mine on how to get over someone has me truly thinking and asking the question myself, "How DO you get over someone?" Like we all know that there are no manuals on relationships and that we learn by trial and error but even myself, at a fabulous twenty something, has never really learned nor mastered the "how to get over someone" concept. I remember my past relationships in high school or even middle school (are we really counting back that far?) when I use to just start talking to someone else and that would help me get over it. But than again, in high school kids break up and are okay the very next day. But what happens when you fall in love, madly in love and things don't go as planned and it's time to move on? How are suppose to get over that person than? It's already hard to realize and recognize when it is time to let go and it's even more difficult trying to erase that person out of your mind. My thoughts? DON'T. Don't try to erase someone from your memory in hopes that it is going to help you get over that person. You are only torturing yourself and making things more difficult. There has to be a better way. Some of my male friends think that the high school way is the best appraoch: find someone else to occupy your time. Haha one of my friends said, "Cold hearted approach, go fuck a whole bunch of people." Yea right! Although, this may work for awhile, how long will it last til your back at square one? SMH, I disagree....

I'll stick the way I think is the best simply occupy your time with getting to re-know yourself, spoiling yourself, finding hobbies, focusing on YOU and making YOU happy!

Men's NCAA Championship YAWN

Was it only me but within minutes of watching the Men's NCAA Championship game last night UNC vs MSU, I was bored and turned the t.v. to Family Guy (which was 10 times more entertaining!!) . Not teams who are trailing behind 21 points, constantly doing turn overs, not able to shoot the ball....sorry, MSU fans, but you should be embarassed. Maria claims that Vanessa called her “lazy, slow, dumb, a f**king liar, and f**king sh-t.” The lawsuit filed in Orange County states that Vanessa “badgered, harassed and humiliated Maria by yelling and screaming at Maria and criticizing her in front of Kobe, the Bryants’ children, employees and other people in the household.” Apparently, she has been wanting to quit for a long time but Kobe has talked her out of it. Reports say that Maria says she wanted to quit and Vanessa responded that she “had to work until payday to pay for the $690 blouse, which she did.”WTF, has Vanessa not seen what happened to Naomi Campbell? Once, you abuse the help, you'll never find anyone to work with you again! Guess now you have to do your own laundry! The Bryant's lawyers did release this statement after the allegations were made:

“We have learned that a former employee of the Bryants, Maria Jimenez, has filed a complaint against our clients. Ms. Jimenez’s outrageous allegations of improper conduct are totally unfounded and patently false. The Bryants intend to vigorously defend against these untruthful allegations and are confident that the baseless nature of the allegations will be proven.”

Hmm crazy bitch! Maria is going to get PAID!

Tia Mowry Confirms The Game is STILL ON!

Tia Mowry, just confirmed on Twitter that "Media Take Out" who is responsible for spreading the rumor that the CW's The Game was cancelled has lied once again and that The Game is still on! Tia said:

"OMG!!! Mediatakeout is full of LIES!!!!!"

"Its a DUMB ASS website that continues to demean and put down black people! Everything that they have posted about me have been lies!"

"How about putting on the site that Mara is pitching an hour show to the network for an hour! Or that BET wants it's 4th season."

"Oh wait, you only report lies! Get a life and make some real money like everyone who you BASH on your site!"

Media Take Out is responsible for starting many celebrity lies and rumors. I am just glad to know that it is just a rumor! Make sure you tune in to The Game every Friday at 8:30 EST....

CW Cancels The Game?

Apparently, CW has decided to go ahead and put an end to The Game that stars Tia Mowry. Just when this show was getting good. Just when Mel was finally getting over Derwin so we thought! And crazy Tasha had found love just to let it go. Why CW? Why? So many of us related to this show and even though the time the show aired was inconvenient many people would youtube the show through The Game Fanatic. I hope that this is just a rumor and not true because it would go to show that CW is trying to make their network as "white" as possible, canceling another realistic black show and keeping garbage on tv. SMH
